Police Nab Eight Robbery, Kidnap Suspects In Delta

Delta State Police Command has announced the arrest of eight armed robbery and kidnap suspects in recent operations around the state.
The suspects, three of them fatally wounded were arrested for various offences, including robbery, kidnapping, cultism and illegal possession of arms.
The State Commissioner of Police, Alkali Usman revealed this after parading the suspects at the state command headquarters in Asaba, Delta State.
according to the police boss, the command had made some impressive recoveries and recorded a couple of achievements.
The feats, he said, included the rescue of kidnap victims, recovery of stolen vehicles, weapons and ammunition from the suspected criminals.
CP Usman while calling for the support of the residents of the state to give police useful and timely information about criminals and their hideouts, maintained that the command was committed to making the state safe for all residents of the state, reiterating that the police had zero tolerance for crime in the state.
