Pique and Shakira Expecting Second Child
Colombian singer, Shakira has confirmed she is pregnant with her second child.
The Voice coach confirmed to Spain’s Cosmopolitan magazine that she is expecting her second baby with her boyfriend, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, whom she met while promoting the 2010 World Cup anthem. The couple welcomed their first son Milan, 18 months, in January 2013.
The international popstar recently performed her new 2014 World Cup single “La La La (Brazil 2014)” at the final game on July 13 and her husband and son appeared in her music video for the new single.
Shakira has been very open about her desire to have a big family, saying in April, “If it weren’t because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard, my own football team.”
