P&G takes new Pampers Baby-Dry to Customers in Market Storm
Procter and Gamble, Nigeria’s leading producer of consumer goods and makers of Pampers diaper range took consumer marketing and sales to a new level as its employees in Lagos took the company’s new and improved Pampers Baby-Dry diaper to customers in the streets and markets.
The market storm, aimed at understanding customer needs through direct engagement, took place simultaneously at Agege and Ikeja areas of Lagos. The employees, which broke into sales units, marketed and sold the various sizes of the diapers to individuals as well as to retail and wholesale outlets.
Narrating her experiences from the exercise, Ijeoma Opene, Associate Director, Customer Business Development, said that the feedback from the storm reinforced Pampers’ leadership position in the minds of mothers in Lagos.
“Our objective of hitting the field today is to introduce the new and exciting Pampers Baby-Dry that not only delivers superior dryness to Nigerian babies but also ensures a comfortable and restful sleep. My experience today has being awesome as the customers were interested in the product even beyond our expectations”.
Iphie Chuks-Adizue, Brand Manager Pampers Nigeria explained that the latest product is characteristic of Pampers’ diaper innovations. “The new Pampers Baby-dry is a demonstration of our commitment to delivering innovative products. As such, we are proud to introduce this variant which delivers superior dryness as well as stretchy sides that adapt to the baby’s shape and movements, ensuring no leakage. It also has fun designs to excite the babies and their mothers”.
She further explained that the new and improved stretchy sides give babies the best comfort as it adapts to ever changing size of the baby’s tummy. The new Pampers baby dry is available in markets throughout the country.
