Peter Obi appointed Chairman of SEC

Former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission by President Goodluck Jonathan.

The presidency announced his appointment on Monday and declared that his appointment is to take effect immediately.

The Acting Director General, Mounir Gwazo, was also approved by the President as the Director General of the Commission.
