PDP Plays Down Criticisms On The Handling Of Security Crisis
Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), has promised its continuous assistance to the Nigerian security agencies in the quest to deal with prevailing security challenges across the country.
The Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali, said the party has noted that it would not engage in trading blames with other political parties over the situation.
Alkali said that his position was a reaction to a statement allegedly made by the spokesman of the Congress for Progressive Change’s (CPC) Presidential candidate, Yinka Odumakin, where he alleged that PDP has shown lackadaisical attitude about the security challenges in the country.
He added that unguarded utterances by prominent Nigerians could jeopardise the outcome of on-going investigations by security agencies in the Country.
