P-Square, Burna Boy, K-Cee to Headline Port-Harcourt’s CARNIRIV
Port Harcourt is set to come alive this December as the trademark exciting CARNIRIV Carnival is set to kick off on Sunday 15 and will be held till Saturday 21, December.
This year’s editon tagged ‘The Green World Edition’ is bound to be thrilling as ace musicians from all around the country will be present to satisfy the attendants. It has been confirmed that P-Square, K-Cee, Terry-G, Sound Sultan and Burna Boy would be present at the weeklong event.
While announcing this, the Director-General, Rivers State Tourism Development Agency (RSTDA), Dr. Sam Dede, assured participants of most exciting and fulfilled moments from these artistes alongside the various activities outlined for the carnival including Kids’ Carnival, Praise Jam, Hosh Jam, Reggae-360, Black African Music Festival (BAMFest), Cultural Arts Exhibition, Garden City Free Style Parade, Ekere Rhythm of the Tribes, Egelege, International Aquatic Festival, International Heritage Parade and the World Peace Concert.
Dede added that between December 15-21, CARNIRIV 2013 will make the capital of the oil-rich city the ideal place for fun lovers to be, saying the exquisite carnival activities that have been lined up are coming with lots of innovation to give participants a lasting positive experience.
