Over 100 pastors pray for Gov Suntai In Kaduna
The clerics in their submission after the prayer session noted that the political crisis in Taraba State stems from politicians’ struggle for power ahead of the 2015 general elections.
In a communiqué obtained by NigerianEcho, signed by the Coordinator and Secretary of the group, Pastor Zachariah Manzo and Pastor Gideon Zamani respectively, the pastors prayed for the quick recovery of the governor.
They also appealed to political office holders across the country not to overheat the polity as it is capable of derailing the nation’s quest for lasting peace.
The prayers and call came few days after an influential Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, said that Nigeria’s multi-faceted problems required a collective responsibility of all Nigerians, irrespective of religious affinities, for lasting solution.
