Olori Olufemi Adenugba, a Great Mother and Wife -Honourable Adekoya
Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid (MHR) has described the late Olori Olufemi Adenugba, wife of His Royal Highness, Oba Abdul-Razak Adenugba the Ebumawe of Ago Iwoye as a great mother and a loving and caring wife who gave unparalleled support to her husband when she was alive.
Hon. Adekoya, who is also the Aremo (The 1st Son of the Palace) of Ago Iwoye expressed regret that the demise of the Olori is a great loss, not only to the Kabiyesi and the people of Ago-Iwoye, but to the entire Ijebu sons and daughters.
This was contained in the condolence message on the passing of the Olori by the lawmaker who is representing the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency.
According to Hon. Adekoya, “the people of Ago-Iwoye and the entire Ijebu land would greatly miss the caring support, traditional motherly role and spiritual companionship as a wife which the Olori had provided for the monarch and the entire people of the town in her life time.
“On behalf of my family; myself as the Aremo (The 1st Son of the Palace) of Ago-Iwoye; and the entire people of the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency of Ogun State, I wish
to express my heartfelt condolences at
the sad loss of the Olori to our highly respected monarch and the entire people of Ago-Iwoye. We are consoled by the fact that Olori Olufemi Adenugba was a highly religious person who has played her role as a dutiful wife and as such will find repose in the comfort and mercy of her Creator” Adekoya said.
He therefore prayed that Almighty Allah should grant her repose a deserved rest while protecting all those she left behind.
