Police Engage Hoodlums In Gun Battle, One Suspect Fell In Kwara State

Police/vigilante patrol team in Kwara has intercepted some bandits who barricaded a part of the Bode-Sadu – Lagos Expressway in readiness to rob innocent travelers.

Police source informed that, a shootout ensued between the Police and the hoodlums which resulted in the hoodlums fleeing the scene into nearby bushes with gunshot wounds.

Combing of the bush resulted in the discovery of the corpse of one of the hoodlums on Tuesday at about 12:30am.

The dead person, a male, according to the police dressed in what looks like a military uniform with one locally-made gun.

Corpse was removed and deposited at UITH mortuary, while efforts is ongoing by the men of State CIID Ilorin to apprehend others.
