Ogun police recover 2 cars stolen in lagos , arrest suspects

The police detectives attached to otta Division of the command on Thursday intercepted and recovered 2 Stolen cars that were removed from park in Agege Lagos state and arrested 3(three) suspects at JB Hotel, Abule Iroko Otta in Ado Odo Otta Local Government of Ogun state.

The trio, JOHN PAUL, M, 28, KOLA OMOTOSHO, M, 49, and OKECHUKWU ALBERT, M, 37,who were suspected by the Anti Robbery Squad of Ota Division, with the help of Vigilante Services of Ogun state, in the area accosted them and the suspects later confessed to have Stolen the cars from park in Agege Lagos.

The 2 recovered cars, Toyota camry with Reg.  No Lagos KJA 181 AT and Toyota camry with Reg.  No Lagos JJJ 315 BZ, are now parked at otta Divisional Headquarters for safe keeping and subsequent release to the owners as directed by the Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Abdulmajid Ali.

The Commissioner of Police has also vowed that the command will always go after receivers of Stolen cars or items within and outside Ogun state as their involvement and/or encouragement in this criminal act is worrisome and must be checkmated without delay. While he directed the Divisional Police officer in otta to apprehend everyone involved in this case.

The command therefore appeals to the owners of these recovered cars to come with proves of ownership to claim their cars immediately.
