OGUN POLICE ARRESTS KIDNAPPER OF A 12YRS OLD GIRL
The Ogun State police command has arrested one Odele Tosin’ m’ the leader of Kidnapping gang who master minded the kidnap of a 12yrs old girl Eniola oyekanmi in Ketu area of Lagos.
The teenager who was kidnapped by the gang when running an errand for her parents was taken to an Hotel in Mowe area where the kidnappers kept her and started demanding for Ransome.
Luck ran against them when anti robbery team from Mowe division led by the DPO CSP Ebohuwa got a tip-off and stormed the hotel at the early hour of today (Saturday) at about 0100hr, the Victim was rescued unhurt, One of the suspects was arrested while the others escaped.
The commissioner of police CP Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered a serious manhunt for the escaped members of the gang, he also directed that the suspect be transferred to anti kidnapping unit at the command headquarters eleweran Abeokuta for discreet investigation.
The CP while commending the efforts of the rescue team assured residents of the state of adequate security as the command will not rest until criminals are chased out of the state completely.
