Ogun police arrest man, 60 for defiling 12 years old girl
The police operatives attached to Abigi Division of the Ogun State police command have arrested one Adewale Enoch, 60,for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl, 12,on 26th December at 1540hrs.
The suspect’s criminal act was reported to the police by the father of the victim and the police swung into action which led to the arrest of Mr Adewale Enoch, at Moborode Area, Abigi in Ogun Waterside Local Government of Ogun state.
The Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Abdulmajid Ali has directed that the case be transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Eleweran Abeokuta for further Investigation and prosecution for the command has credible evidence to arraign the suspect.
The Police boss also appealed to parents and guardians to monitor their children or wards as all hands must be on deck to eradicate this criminal, barbaric and inhuman act in our society.
The Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Abdulmajid Ali has however vowed to leave no stone unturned to continue the fight against child abuse, gender violence and other social vices that can expose our children to moral dangers.
