Ogun Police Admonish Secondary School Students To Love Police Profession

Ogun State Police command has admonished students of Day Waterman College, British Curriculum, to develop interest in taking the Nigeria Police Force as a loving and enviable profession whenever they want to chose a career.
This message was given to the Junior Secondary Students of the College during the 2016 Career Talk organised by the management of the school at the College Hall, Day Waterman College, Kobape, Ogun state on Wednesday.
While speaking onbehalf of the command, the police spokesman, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, gave the full history, duties and powers of the Police as enshrined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to the Students, with a view to changing their psyche of the Students and those present at the career talk for better towards the police.
Many potentials and professional qualities and policies of the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, to improve the Nigeria Police Force, were shared with the audience.
DSP Adejobi, assured the students of
Modern and people-oriented Nigeria Police Force with the present efforts of the Inspector General of Police.
He then urged them to see joining the police as means of contributing one’s quota to better security and governance of our great country, Nigeria.
The PPRO promised the audience and the general public of adequate protection of lives and property in Ogun State.
He advised the student to shun crimes, cultism and any other social vices as the police will not tolerate such within the state.
