Ogun CP presents scholarship award certificates to lucky police childrens school pupils in Abeokuta
The Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Abdulmajid Ali today presented certificates, on behalf of the Inspector General of Police IGP Solomon Arase, to the six successful and lucky Pupils of the Police Childrens School Eleweran Abeokuta
The Inspector General of Police, since assumption of office, has been awarding scholarship to students of Police schools across board, who have been found worthy in all areas of their academic pursuits.
Six Pupils of the children school Eleweran Abeokuta who are beneficiaries include Tella Taiwo, primary 3,Ogunsola Ramat, primary 1,Folayegbe Ruth, primary 1,Afeni Samuel, primary 2, Ayuba Testimony, primary 1 and Adeniyi Segun, primary 4.
The Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Abdulmajid Ali while presenting the certificates to them urged the affected families to appreciate the IGP and reciprocate the gesture by making sure that the Students are more committed to their Studies.
The HOD Zonal Quality Assurance, Lagos,Police Force Education Unit, Mrs Esther Gbadegesin appreciated the IGP for his love and gesture which is motivational to the Students and even their parents. She lauded the Students, parents and staff of the police children’s School Eleweran for having the highest number of beneficiaries in the IGPs scholarship prizes all over the country.
Other dignitaries who were present at the occasion include the Deputy Commissioner of Police Department of Finance and Administration DCP Celestine Okoye, DCP Shina Olukolu, CIID, DCP Bello Makwashi, DC Operations, ACP Rotimi Adelesi, ACP Aminu Alhassan, ACP Jude Azuka and PPRO Ogun state Muyiwa Adejobi, and the Head Teacher PCS Eleweran Abeokuta Mr Gabreal Akinfolarin, Chairman PTA of the school, Mr Oyenekan Biodun.
