NMA directs Striking Health Workers to return to Work Immediately
The Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, has ordered striking health workers to resume work immediately.
The President of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, Steven Oluwole, on Monday announced the directive after a National Executive Council meeting which took place over the weekend.
Oluwole decried the incessant industrial actions by health workers in the country and their effects.
He also urged the Federal Government to resolve all lingering issues in the sector as well as appoint someone who has both medical and managerial experience as Minister of Health so that the sector can deliver on its expectations.
