Nigerian nurse dies of Ebola, seven others infected

One of Nigerian nurses who treated the late Liberian Ebola patient, Patrick Sawyer, is dead.

The nurse was a staff with the First Foundation Hospital, Lagos where the Liberian was treated.

Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, confirmed this development on Wednesday morning.

According to him, the nurse died on Tuesday.

He also said seven other persons are down with the disease in Nigeria.

However, the Nigerian doctor who treated Sawyer is said to be still alive.
