Nigerian Army kills 37 Boko Haram Members during raid in Borno

At least 37 members of Boko Haram were killed following the Nigerian Army and other security operatives raid on a secret camp 
at Alagarno Village, near Maiduguri, Borno State.
Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations of the 7 Division, Aliyu Danja disclosed this in a statement made available to NigerianEcho.
According to Danja, it was a joint operation between the Nigeria Air Force and soldiers of the 7 division. “Troops of the 7 Division of Nigerian Army launched an attack on Boko Haram camp located in Alagarno. The operation which commenced on Monday 21 2013, involved a coordinated ground and air assault by troops of 7 Division in conjunction with 79 Composite Group, Nigerian Air Force, Maiduguri.
“A total of 37 terrorists were killed in the (shootout) while several others fled with gunshot wounds. Arms and ammunitions were also recovered, three Hilux Vehicles and several motorcycles belonging to the terrorists were destroyed,” Danja said.
In a similar development, several Boko Haram members were reportedly killed died during a Sunday’s attack on Logomari Village the Army spokesperson confirmed.
About fifty Boko Haram members, armed with AK 47 rifles and rocket propelled guns (RPGs) had blocked Gambor/Ngala-Dikwa road at Logomari. “The terrorists fled the scene on the arrival of troops of 7 Division,”
