Nigeria to Play Rwanda in AFCON Qualifier

The Super Eagles are due to take on Rwanda in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar on September 6.

The Spokesman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ademola Olajire, revealed the date and venue of the game, after the pitch at the Abuja National Stadium was declared unusable.

“The Nigeria vs Rwanda Afcon qualifier will be played in Calabar,” he said. “We as a Federation are working tirelessly to ensure that the Eagles are prepared for the encounter, which takes place on the 6th of next month.”

Nigeria is grouped with South Africa, Sudan and Rwanda and the first two countries at the end of the qualifying series, will qualify for Morocco 2015.
