Nigeria Becomes the first African Nation to qualify for Brazil 2014

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil after 
defeating the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia 2-0 in Calabar, ending the play-offs with an aggregate of 4-1.
The First goal of the game came in the 20th minute through a penalty awarded to Nigeria after Ethiopia’s Haliu was punished for a handball and Victor Moses wasted no time in burying the ball in the net.
Obinna Nsofor did well to convert a free kick into a beautiful goal in the 82nd minute.
Nigeria is the first African Country to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
