Nigeria @ 60: Amosun renews hope of Nigerians
The Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Senator Ibikunle Amosun CON, FCA, in his congratulatory message to Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary, says even though, Nigeria, like other developing nations in the world, is not immune to challenges, but, there is a blaze of hope for Nigeria and her citizens.
He calls on the people to continue to support the various government’s policy and programmes, particularly the diversification of the economy from oil, the development of the Agricultural sector and the revamping of the mines and steel industry, saying these programmes are geared towards improving the lives of the citizens.
According to Senator Amosun, the unwavering commitment, selflessness and purposeful leadership which President Muhammadu Buhari has demonstrated since he came to power have further reinforced the hope that Nigeria is on the part of greatness.
The Ogun Central Senator enjoins the political class and indeed all Nigerians to always ensure that the unity, peace, cohesion and progress of the country reign supreme in all that they engage in, adding that by so doing, Nigeria will remain a better nation for all.
