NFF President, Aminu Maigari Impeached!

The president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Aminu Maigari has been impeached by his executive board members on Thursday afternoon.

Second vice president of the federation, Mike Umeh is now acting as interim NFF president till the August 26 Nigeria football general assembly.

The impeachment comes a few days after FIFA lifted a ban over Nigeria as punishment for the government interfering in NFF’s affairs.

The Executive board had been removed by a Plateau state high court . The case was withdrawn and the Executive board was reinstated.
