NFF Lifts Ban on Ogunjobi and Others
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has lifted the ban placed on former secretary general of the federation, Taiwo Ogunjobi, as part of resolutions reached during an executive committee meeting of the NFF board in Abuja on Tuesday.
Due to the upcoming NFF elections, it was decided during the meeting that all persons banned for various lengths of time would have their bans lifted, including Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, Mr Adedapo Lam-Adesina, Mr Chikelue Iloanusi and Mr Harrison Jalla.
In a statement released to the media, the NFF’s executive committee also decided that the General Assembly of 26th August, 2014 will be composed of the delegates to the 2013 General Assembly in Warri, including those from Plateau and Yobe State Football Associations.
Also, members of both the Electoral Committee and Electoral Appeals Committee earlier removed will be re-admitted at the Tuesday, 26th August, 2014 Congress to continue with their electoral duties.
