NFF crisis Deepens, Maigari, opponents set to sack each other

If reports reaching us from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Glass House in Abuja is true, the nation Football crisis is yet to be over as there was an indication that the reinstated President of the NFF, Alhaji Aminu Miagari, will hold a press conference this morning. The press briefing which is scheduled for 10am, report revealed will be targeted at the suspension of disloyal members of the Board. Aminu Maigari-led Board was reinstated late on Wednesday after Justice L. P. Lot of a High Court sitting in Jos, Plateau State, vacated an interim injunction restraining him and the board members from managing football affairs in the country.
However, findings by NigerianEcho show that opposing camp in the glass house have been brainstorming on how to deal with each other. Also suspected to be on the press briefing agenda is the removal of Maigari’s loyalists – Barrister Chris Green, High Chief Emeka Inyama and Alhaji Fresh. Efforts, it was gathered, are on to get signatures of required number of members to carry out the plan.
