New Supervising Minister of Labour promises to Prioritise Welfare of Workers
The Supervising Minister of Labour and Productivity, Tanimu Turaki has said that the labour sector will soon undergo changes and development as the challenges facing the sector will soon be addressed fully.
Turaki revealed this in a statement issued to newsmen by the Deputy Director of Press in the ministry, promising that the implementation of the transformation agenda in the labour sector will be intensified and staff welfare will be his priority.
He also urged stakeholders in the ministry to contribute to the development intellectually. He sought the worker’s support and co-operation, saying he would need it to succeed.
Turaki also applauded his predecessor’s hard work and achievements, while pledging to continue his good works.
