Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has disclosed that the G7 governors have made their position on the crisis rocking the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) known to the leadership of the party since and were waiting for the party to arrive at a decision.

Kwankwaso said the governors position was well known to the public, adding that the impending national conference was a waste of time and resources.

According to him, there are many national issues that require more attention to move the nation forward.
Speaking after a closed door meeting with Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State in Dutse yesterday, Kwankwaso described the Dutse International Airport, as a future investment that will boost economic activities of the entire northern region.

The governor said he was in Dutse to discuss common issues on how to develop the two sister states, as himself and Lamido shared same political ideology.

He noted that the airport was a gateway to economic development of the state, adding that functional airports are prerequisite for national development.

The governor, therefore, commended Lamido for the project, which he described as an outstanding legacy.
He assured him that they would continue to work together towards moving their respective states forward.
