Mourinho Berates Barcelona, believes Manchester City has UCL Quarter-Finals Chance
Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has labelled the current Barcelona team, as the worst in many years.
The Catalans will travel to Etihad to take on Manchester City on Tuesday evening in the UEFA Champions League, days after City eliminated Chelsea from the FA Cup.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men will be hoping to reach the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time, despite the tough draw against the Spanish giants, but Mourinho has said that they have nothing to fear.
“Of course by history Barcelona is the favourite, but this Barcelona, this season, is showing that it is not the same in previous years,” Mourinho said.
“Of course they have [Lionel] Messi, he is special, and they have more than him. But I think this is the worst Barcelona of many many years, so City have a chance.”
