Miss Nigeria Loses Crown
The winner of the once prestigious Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant, Isabella Ayuk, may have dragged the name of the Country in the mud as a result of non-disclosure of her true age. This has made her to be dropped as Nigeria’s representative in the forth coming Miss World contest. The first runner up, Diamete Charles, has been called upon to take her position.
The emergence of Miss Ayuk, an indegene of Cross River, as the winner of MBGN pageant has been enmeshed in controversy as many thought she was older than the 26years she claimed.
The organisers of MBGN, Silver bird communications, owned by the Bruce family, a source told NigerianEcho knew about the lies as told by Ayuk but went ahead to crown her the winner due to her connections to the influential people in the society. She is said to be very close to the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representative, Emeka Ihedioha. Agbani Darego went ahead to win the Miss World crown having won the MBGN pageant.
