Minister of State for Health, Salako Condoles with Edionseri’s Family
Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Iziaq Kunle Salako has commiserated with the Edionseri’s family over the death of their Matriach, Chief (Mrs.) Khadijah Adebisi Edionseri who died on Sunday 5th and buried on Monday 6th January, 2025.
In a condolence letter addressed to the head of the family, Dr Salako wrote that “Cash Madam was a great woman of all season” and that her death “was received by me with a rude shock and sadness. I immediately began to imagine the big vacuum her demise will be creating in our country in many facets of life especially within the Islamic faith, community leadership, women societies, entrepreneurship, phillantrophy and the social milieu.”
“Mama was somebody one would have wished lived forever. Unfortunately, this is an impossibility. She was a woman of substance who was well gifted by Almighty Allah in several areas.”
Honourable Minister prayed that Almighty Allah should rest her soul in paradise and grant her family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and encouraged them to please be consoled with the life she lived which was impactful and fulfilling.”
