Minister of Interior reiterates FG’s Commitment to handing over a Boko-Haram-Free Nigeria
The Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, has vowed that the Federal Government will recover all the territories lost to Boko Haram before the present administration hands over on May 29.
Moro, who was speaking at the inauguration of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Housing Estate in Abuja, urged the corps to support the fight against the insurgency in the North- East.
“With the commitment of Nigerian military, it is our hope as a government that by May 29, 2015, Boko Haram and its activities will become history,” he said.
He also commended the interest of the NSCDC in the welfare of its employees, urging other security agencies to emulate the gesture.
