Military Says Four Soldiers Did Not Die In Nembe Jetty Attack

Nigeria military on Monday says no soldier died in the Nembe Jetty attack in Bayelsa State.
The Director of Defence Information, Colonel Rabe Abubakar, who disclosed this on Monday in Abuja while briefing l journalists said, the figure was not real and that “the military did not suffer any casualty in the incidence”.
According to Abubakar, six persons had been arrested and were being interrogated over the incident.
He said, condone and search exercise was ongoing in the general area covering Nembe in the southern Nigerian state.
Media had put the number of casualties in the attack to five, claiming four soldiers and a police officer were killed in the attack.
