Might Be Beef Day, But Cuomo Brings ‘Cheddar’ to Fairgrounds
After missing the inaugural day of this year’s Great New York State Fair, Governor Andrew Cuomo made the stop Tuesday and spoke from the Empire Room on the New York State Fairgrounds, reports TWC News.
The governor announced $50 million in funding to make the New York State Fairgrounds a year-round facility.
Cuomo touted Upstate New York’s investment in tourism and the I Love New York program.
He also spoke about the last investment into state tourism which he says more than doubled that investment — making it two times the national rate of growth.
