Manchester City draw Wigan Athletic in Sixth Round of FA Cup
History will have a chance to repeat itself as Manchester City will host Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup quarter-finals, a repeat of last season’s final.
Wigan Athletic relegated after upsetting City at Wembley last May, and will travel to the Etihad Stadium seeking a repeat of giant-killing exercise after beating Cardiff City yesterday.
There is also a Merseyside derby in the last eight as Arsenal which defeated Liverpool with 2 goals to 1 is drawn at home to Everton, who beat Swansea City 3-1 in their fifth-round tie.
Sheffield United or Nottingham Forest are drawn at home to the winner of the tie between Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic, which was postponed on Saturday. The other tie pits Brighton and Hove Albion or Hull City against the Capital One Cup finalists Sunderland.
The Ties are to be played on the weekend of March 7-9
