Man killed scrambling for politician’s money in Lagos – Police
Police in Lagos , yesterday confirmed the death of a young man allegedly killed while struggling with others to share money donated by a politician in Ajegunle area of the metropolis.
The spokesperson for the state command, Ngozi Braide, who confirmed the incident said the matter was being investigated.
Supol Braide said some people had been arrested in connection with the incident.
An eye-witness said the deceased met his death when a politician went to the area to inspect his projects and donated some amount of money to the miscreants in the area
The money, it was learnt caused the fight that led to the death of the deceased at 7-Up Bus Stop, Ajegunle.
Police PRO said, the suspects will be charged to court after thorough investigation.
