Louis van Gaal Seals First EPL Win for Manchester United
Manchester United nailed their first win of the season as they crushed Queens Park Rangers 4-0 at Old Trafford.
Angel di Maria opened the scoring on his home debut, followed by Ander Herrera, captain Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata, in what was an unfortunate return for former captain Rio Ferdinand.
New signings, Marcos Rojo and Danny Blind were in the match from the start while Radamel Falcao was introduced in the second half.
After 24 minutes of constant probing, former Real madrid player, di Maria swung a curling free-kick into the back of the net. Herrera doubled the lead on the 36th minute with an assist from Rooney.
Rooney added his name to score sheet on the stroke of half-time, while Mata sealed the rout just before the hour mark with an assist from di Maria.
The result saw United rise to the ninth spot on the table with 5points in four games.
