“LET UNITY IN ACTION HASTEN THE DAWN OF FREEDOM” – A Clarion Call for Unity of Purpose in Ogun West
By Hon. Kayode Oladele
My dear good people of Ogun West, I extend my warmest congratulations to you all on the encouraging and heartwarming news as reported by the Punch, the most authoritative newspaper in Nigeria, that Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, our very own son, friend and brother, is being projected to emerge as the consensus candidate in the forthcoming APC gubernatorial Primary in Ogun State.
This development is very significant and represents a strong validation of our collective aspiration, resilience and unwavering commitment to the Ogun West agenda.
For years, we have worked tirelessly, advocated consistently for equity and justice and remained hopeful that our Senatorial District will take its rightful place in the leadership of our dear state.
Today, that hope is gradually becoming a reality. Let no one be deceived.
While we celebrate this positive indication, I urge us all to remain focused, united and steadfast. This is not yet the destination, but it is certainly a major step in the right direction. We must therefore consolidate on this momentum by strengthening our unity and speaking with one voice in support of this noble cause.
Let us continue to engage constructively, respect our elders and traditional rulers, mobilize effectively, build bridges of hope and friendship across other Senatorial Districts and demonstrate the political maturity and solidarity required to actualize this historic opportunity.
Finally, let us thank the Almighty God for His unwavering love. He is a miracle worker, He is a promise keeper and He is the Light in the darkness. He that started this historic journey will be faithful to complete it to the end. The journey is on course and with God on our side, victory shall be ours.
Thank you and God bless you all.
Yayi ni jọ̀ọ́, Yayi ni jàre!!!
