LASG makes clarification on boards dissolution
Lagos State Government has said Heads and Chief Executives of government agencies and parastatals are not affected by the dissolution of their boards, report NAN.
This clarification is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tunji Bello on Wednesday in Lagos.
According to the statement, the State House of Assembly Commission is also exempted from the dissolution directive.
The statement stated: “The clarification had become necessary because of different wrong interpretations given to the media announcement of the dissolution”.
Gov. Ambode had on Monday approved the dissolution of all boards of parastatals and agencies of government in the state.
However, the State Civil Service Commission, Judicial Service Commission and the State Independent Electoral Commission were exempted from the directive.
