Kwara state PDP creates New Committees to Revamp Party
The Kwara state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has created five committees to work towards the re-positioning of the party after its defeat in the April 11 governorship election.
The party’s Publicity Secretary, Dr Rex Olawoye, disclosed this in Ilorin on Sunday, stating that the committees were set up when the party’s State Executive Council had a meeting to analyse its performance in the just concluded general elections.
The new committees are the Finance, Research and Strategy, Media and Publicity, Mobilisation and Legal committees and they will be inaugurated before May 29.
Olawoye said the party has accepted defeat but will ensure it remains relevant as a formidable opposition party, until the state is liberated from socioeconomic and political bondage.
