Kwara PDP Chooses Ajibola As Governorship Candidate; Aluko as Running Mate
The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, has officially announced the choice of Senator Simeon Ajibola as its gubernatorial candidate ahead of the 2015 general election.
Ajibola was presented as the party’s candidate at the press conference in Ilorin on Monday by the state PDP Chairman, Iyiola Oyedepo, who didn’t fail to note they had followed the results of a free and acceptable primary election.
The Senator, in his acceptance speech, commended other aspirants for their courage and also thanked the members of the party for their support, encouragement and belief in him.
He also announced Yinka Aluko, the senatorial candidate for Kwara central, as his running mate, while promising not to disappoint the members of the party and assuring them of victory during the 2015 governorship election.
