Kwankwaso tells Commissioners to Join APC or Resign
Kano state governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has ordered his commissioners to decamp to the All Progressive Congress(APC) or resign their appointments.
The governor said this while Addressing five delegates each from the 44 local government areas of the state, lifting an APC flag before the meeting, and saying: “I have left that party from today. Those of you that want to join APC should follow me, but if you want to remain in PDP you are free to resign.”
Kwankwaso, whom had earlier ordered the removal of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) flags from the Government House in Kano, his government car and his office table, added that the five former PDP governors who defected to the APC had made it clear to the president before their defection that he should prepare to leave the Aso Rock if he did not settle the crisis in the party.
