Keshi Applauds Super Eagles for Victory over Congo
Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, has commended his team for their much needed 2-0 win over Congo in Saturday’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Keshi said the result was encouraging for the Eagles who are still under pressure as they will soon face already-qualified South Africa in their last group game. He expressed hopes that the players will keep up their determination in their next game.
“What I saw was encouraging and I just hope they continue this way. The boys are really focused and of course they know why they are here. It’s the business so we have to do what we have to do.”
Nigeria will play South Africa, who are top of Group A, on Wednesday at the Uyo Stadium.
