Keshi Apologises to Nigerians After Loss to Sudan

Sharing is caring!

Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, has apologised to Nigerians following the 1 loss and unimpressive show against Sudan at the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match in Khartoum.

The team released a statement released on Sunday, with Keshi saying, “I want to apologise to Nigerians. This is the first time I am doing this in my entire career as a player and coach.

“We had a couple of early chances but the ball refused to enter into the net. I promise them we will make an amend on Wednesday.”

Meanwhile Striker, Emmanuel Emenike, blamed the loss on the quality of the pitch in Khartoum, saying: “Where we played is worse than when we were playing street football. They deliberately took us there.”
