Kebbi State APC to Field Consensus Gubernatorial Candidate in 2015
The Kebbi state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced plans to field a consensus governorship candidate ahead of the 2015 polls.
According to the Chairman of the Resolution Committee of the party, Suleiman Argungu, the three senatorial districts in the state would present an aspirant each for screening. One of the candidates would then be chosen to vie in the election.
“The resolution committee will ensure each of the Senatorial Districts presents an aspirant out of the many aspirants, this will enable the party to avoid distractions and pool resources to defeat other parties’ candidates.”
Argungu also revealed Kebbi North Senatorial District woulbd be represented by Ahmad Sama while Kebbi South and Kebbi Central are yet to choose their candidates.
