Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Engaged
American rapper, Kanye West proposed to girlfriend, Kim Kardashian on Monday in San Francisco.
The rapper asked the question after surprisingly flying in from the 2013 Hollywood Film Festival in Los Angeles,in front of loved ones at a Basketball Stadium, which was rented out for Kim’s 33rd birthday.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star and ‘Jesus Walks’ rapper began their romance in April 2012 while she was separated but still legally married to basketball player Kris Humphries to whom she had been married for 72 days.
They had been good friends for many years with West’s ex,Amber Rose,admitting there was always an attraction between West and Kardashian and Humphries also claiming Kardashian cheated on him with West during their short marriage.
Last December, West surprised his fans when he announced at a concert in Atlantic City that Kim was pregnant with his child. Kardashian gave birth to their daughter, North West, on June 15.
The pair, known as Kimye, have been the subject of marriage speculation for months. Just a few days earlier, West told fans in Seattle that he intended to marry Kardashian. He has also called Kardashian ‘His Joy’ several times on television.
The impending marriage will be Kardashian’s third and West’s first.
