Kano Pillars Win Nigerian Premier League
Kano Pillars have won the Nigerian Premier League the third time in a row.
The Kano state club won the 2013/2014 season’s title after thrashing Nembe City 4-0; beating Enyimba and Warri Wolves to the title as they failed to win against Dolphins FC and Gombe United.
Although the last set of matches of the season are set to be played next weekend, Pillars’ 65 points have already given them victory as Enyimba have 61 points and Warri Wolves have 60.
Pillars will now represent Nigeria at next season’s CAF Champions League.
