Jonathan urges Nigerians to promote Unity
President Goodluck Jonathan, on Saturday, shared a goodwill message to Nigerians, urging them to imbibe the spirit of unity and continue to work for the good of the country.
President Jonathan, who was commissioning the Christian Association of Nigeria’s newly built Jubilee Resort and Leadership Centre at the Central Business District, Abuja, said that the feat was an evidence of unity present within the association.
Urging Nigerians to emulate the association, he said, “With unity of purpose, the body of Christ can achieve greater things. Nigerians should imbibe the spirit of unity and continue to work for the progress of the nation.
“The Christian Association of Nigeria has done it. We can also do it.”
He also congratulated and applauded the association’s leadership and advised that the proceeds from the facility are used to maintain the building and the National Christian Centre.
The President of CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, in his speech, said that the association built the facility as a five-star accommodation with Godly atmosphere for residents and those who visit the Federal Capital Territory.
He also thanked members of the association and other individual who contributed to the achievement of the building.
