Jonathan sacks Chief of Staff for Alleged Involvement In NNPC’s Fraud
Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked his Chief of Staff, Mike Oghiadomhe following his alleged involvement in the massive fraud rocking the 
Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Recently, Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, raised alarm over misappropriation of several billions of dollars by NNPC officials.
Sources told NigerianEcho that security agencies’ findings linked the embattled Chief of Staff to the scandal in NNPC. President Jonathan has therefore asked Oghiadomhe to resign with immediate effect.
Oghiadomhe hails from Fugar in Edo State and was the Deputy Governor to Lucky Igbinedion when the latter served as Governor of the State between 199 and 2007. Presidency sources said Alhaji Al-Hassan Tukur will replace Oghiadomhe. Hassan Tukur is the son of Bamanga Tukur, former chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Hassan was Jonathan’s principal secretary before this new appointment.
