Jonathan, aggrieved PDP Governors Meet To Address Grievance
Some of the aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) met with Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan, in Abuja to discuss issues concerning the defection of some of them to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Present at the State House in Abuja are Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State , Banagida Aliyu of Niger State, Rabiu Kwankaso of Kano State and the governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido.
The Sunday meeting was scheduled after a meeting between the governors of Niger and Jigawa and President Jonathan last week.
The G7 governors stormed out of the party’s national convention in Abuja which became the start of the crisis rocking the party and also the birth of the new PDP.
