Joggers Find Body on Le Moyne Campus
Some breaking news out of DeWitt, as police investigate a suspicious death on the Le Moyne campus.
Police say some joggers found a body while on a trail in a wooded area that is on the college’s property.
They found the body around 11:30 Sunday morning.
Police arrived shortly after noon. A fire investigator was at the scene.
Police say it is possible that the body was burned, and they are still working to identify the remains.
Police believe the death happened in the overnight hours or Sunday morning.
The joggers who found the body are being interviewed.
