Jigawa PDP Governorship Aspirant defects to APC
A governorship aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party in Jigawa state, Alhaji Aminu Kani, has defected to the All Progressive Congress.
Kani declared his defection during an APC rally at Matsaro ward in Hadejia on Sunday, saying he decamped because the APC had better programmes designed to ensure good governance and improve the socio-economic well-being of the people.
The Jigawa State APC Chairman, Alhaji Ado Kiri, accepted Kani into the party, saying he was part of thousands of former PDP supporters who defected to the APC in the last few weeks.
