JABU gets NUC approval to run Law programme

National Universities Commission, NUC, has given the first entrepreneurial university in Nigeria, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, JABU, its approval to run a College of Law.

NUC team, which visited the institution to ascertain its level of preparedness for the commencement of the Law programmes gave its mandate to the University via a mail sent to the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Sola Fajana.

According to the VC, all hands have been on deck awaiting the approval of the programme, adding, concerted efforts have been made to ensure that the University is constantly in line with the provisions laid down by the regulatory body.

National Universities Commission, NUC, after their visit to the university gave its approval for two programmes in the University, Law (LLB) and Public Administration (B.Sc.).

The regulatory body admonished the University Management to provide adequate human and material resources for the development and growth of the approved programmes.
